We’ll welcome the rising 6th grade students (the graduating 5th graders) and celebrate the 8th to 9th grade transition with a night of color-powder-fueled fun for middle and high school students! Friends welcome! The Kona Ice truck will be onsite and we’ll give each student a ticket for shaved ice. Kona Ice will stick around until 8:30 if families and others in the community would like to purchase shaved ice. Wear white clothes that you’re ok getting colored. The cornstarch-based powder should wash out, but maybe don’t wear your newest white sneakers. Also, bring a towel with you to protect the inside of the car you ride home in!
